Although really nothing officially confirmed and still in the 'rumours' state, I can't help but to get a little bit excited about this piece of info, quite possibly the best news for any Arrested Development fans out there. Jason Bateman has confirmed that there MIGHT be a Arrested Development motion picture in the works.
Last month Bateman told E! the following:
"I can confirm that a round of sniffing has started," Bateman says. "Any talk is targeting a poststrike situation, of course. I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation. And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed."
Jeffrey Tambor has also revealed that he has been approached by (the series producer and uncredited narrator) Ron Howard to see if he's willing to do an Arrested film.
GOB was not far behind, during a February airing of Conan, Will Arnett also confirmed a movie was currently being planned..
So... really nothing rock solid, but a pretty, preeeeetty great dream!
